03 Jan A Kitchen Solution That’s Up for Grabs
Happy New Year, everyone!
Today, I’ve got my newest favorite kitchen (and elsewhere) problem tackler for you. This one’s for getting to the higher shelves, as an alternative to Spidey-esque cabinet climbing or getting on a stepladder. There are many of this sort of reachy-graspy thing out there, but I’ve found most of them to be on the flimsy side… as in, no way would you consider them trusty enough to transport something breakable or on the heavy side.
The one that I’ve come to know and love is made by Arcmate. I’ve got the 32″ Pro version. This length reaches all of the top shelves in my kitchen — and closets, too — without being too long and unwieldy, and it has a locking mechanism, which helps keep things feeling even more secure when in its grip.
It grasps and holds on with little rubber cups. You can even buy replacements for those when you need to. It’s lightweight (13.6 oz.), and can hold up to 8 lbs. At just under $25 including S&H, it’s priced well, too… and less than many that are of much lower quality.
It’s also pretty fun to use, I will admit. Yep. That’s a brick.
