07 Jul Banana Republic T’s: Petiterie’s Picks
Petite-sized graphic t-shirts. It’s not everyday that you find these. But find them I have at Banana Republic this season, and they are responsible for the “Squeee!” that sparked todays’s post. They’ve also got a nice collection of T’s that are elevated with a design twist, like ruffle sleeves. BR does typically carry a few of this sort of T; this season there are more to choose from and the options are also especially good in terms of colors, shaping, fabric, and variety.
Here‘s the first of three most unusual of specimens: a great graphic T.
I’m definitely partial to the previous one, but this one‘s a close enough second for a white graphic T (and is also currently under $18) to be worth considering pulling the trigger on both.
This corally red color has a perfect summer beachy vibe.
Here’s an “elevated” T cut in this season’s roomier, drapier relaxed fit, which makes it all the more important to be proportioned correctly, so it doesn’t look sloppy (or like someone else’s t-shirt).
I’m always up for the easy, flattering wearability of a twist-front top. I hope we get to see these around for a good long time.
Same goes for a drape-y faux wrap. The keyhole is such a nice little extra touch, too, helping to keep the volume of the fabric in proportion for a petite frame.
