In the Bag

I’ve been spotting some beautiful bags on the street lately – I’d call them almost sculptural in design – prompting some “I love your bag…” conversations in which I was able to find out the details. Here are some of them, plus a few more that I think are really fantastic.

I just love the spare design and clean lines of this circular belt bag, which looks way more expensive than it is.

This jute bag manages to look sculptural and super-casual at the same time. Equally at home on the beach or out to dinner.

The shape of this tote reminds me of a wrap dress. The deep v in the middle minimizes the overall volume of the bag, so it wont overwhelm petite proportions.

The woven design of this smallish bucket bag by Kate Spade is so interesting. I love the pink color, too.

A chunky color blocked look that would be overwhelmingly oversized for a petite frame if it was in the wrong proportions. Thankfully, it is just right.

My favorite – this pretty open weave satchel-style bag in great dimensions for a petite-scale body. Can be held by the top handle or worn as a crossbody with an adjustable strap.
