16 Apr Nude Shoe Review: Real vs. Steal Edition
For this round of Nude Shoe Review, I’m adding in an extra sprinkle: original designs along with lower priced dupes! Some of the shoes in this post, like the Valentino rockstud pumps and the Chanel two-tone slingbacks, are classics that will get you through many seasons, if you are considering the originals. The “steals” are great versions otherwise. Some of the dupes are real leather, and others use a faux leather to lower costs further. One of the lower priced compadres – the Chloé espadrille – has details like the ankle strap and laser cutout flowers, that are actually in better scale for a petite frame than the real deal.
Skin tone (and close to skin tone) shoes keep the eye going in one long visual line from leg to foot and for this reason make legs look longer, which is what makes them one of the best style strategy for petites there is. They’re also a fabulous neutral option, pairable with absolutely any color outfit at all, so you can count on getting a lot of use out of a shoe in this color range.
