17 Apr Petiterie’s Picks: Tees
There’s nothing like the ease and low-key sensibility of a t-shirt. They are the comfort food of clothing. I like to snap up a tee or two around this time, as I find it’s when they really start to show up in earnest numbers, and are often on sale.
This super soft v-neck with gorgeous gold foil stripes (comes in silver, too) is nicely slouchy, and is 40% off through the 20th at Banana Republic. (No promo code needed.)
J’adore the simplicity of this graphic tee and its perfect charcoal color. It’s also 40% off through 4/20 at Banana Republic.
Color blocking is tricky when you are petite – many times it can chop you up and shorten you visually. The wonderfully retro color blocking on this tee is in excellent proportion for a smaller frame.
A must-have for avocado fiends. I’ve featured this tee before, and I’m so happy to see it’s still in good supply. It’s ultra light and ultra-soft. It’s in junior sizing, which is why it works well on a petite frame. If you think you’ll need some room for your chest, I’d suggest going up one size.
Though truth be told I’d barely qualify this as a t-shirt, I do really love the femininity and peasant-y feel. It’s a great midgear option, in between a standard T and a blouse.
The snakeskin print on this v-neck pocket T is just right.
Pretty eyelet raglan sleeves on this tee will draw the eye upward, which is ideal for someone of petite proportions.
A well-executed good pima cotton staple tee, fabulous for wearing under a blazer, on sale for less than $13 through 4/20 at Ann Taylor – other colors, too. Promo code: HOPTOIT.
