Seeing White

I’m finding myself in the mood for the crisp brightness of white as I do my hunting and gathering over the course of a few gloomy, wet days. Happily, this season does not disappoint. There’s a great big bounty of white matter for petite proportions. Here’s what places at the top of my list:

The v-neck effect that comes from subtle sheerness above the “v” on this tone-on-tone textural plaid sleeveless blouse keeps it from looking too prim.

A very solid basic of a white tank in a boxy cut, with the sort of structured roominess and good length to be in nice proportion to pair with wide legs for a relaxed elegant look.

This moto jacket in a weighty (and slightly off-white) linen blend is just the ticket for a coolish day or evening during spring or summer. It’s got an edgy cool factor to it that is typically what you’d expect with black leather, which makes it a very refreshing choice.

Another, more casual jacket option with iconic styling and great proportions; this one has many fans singing its praises in reviews.

It’s not an easy feat to pull off an office-worthy dress in white; this midi length option with its tie neck gets it right.

I love dresses like this flowy sleeveless shift dress that serves as a blank canvas and backdrop for accessories, up for styling a bazillion ways.

These wide leg pants are proving quite popular; they’re fantastic for work and beyond kind of days.

AG jeans do a bang up job of skimming feminine curves without being too tight. These kick crops are no exception. What’s especially great about these is that they have a raw hem so you can think about cutting them shorter on your own if you need to in order to achieve a cropped look. At around 26″, they’re full length on close to 5′ me.
