06 Feb Think Pink
Think pink to foreshadow spring. Think pink because a cold weather pastel look is absolutely lovely. Think pink for Valentine’s Day. Whatever your inspiration to think pink, there are some beautiful options around for petite proportions.
My pink thinking these days is in the direction of its softer, lighter shades, so that’s what you’ll see here…
I wear entirely too much black to pilates. These rouched joggers would be the perfect shake up to that routine. And, with a strategic pairing on top, could run errands after without needing to switch them out. Like these, next (although since it’s a tank and wrap, I guess this is technically more of a trio than a pairing)…
I prefer to size up in this excellently light and soft tank, as I found my regular size too fitted for my taste.
This wrap is super-soft, super-drapey, and super-beloved by many, as tons of reviews attest. It’s not easy to find a wrap in a petite length, either.
Ah, peonies, you gorgeous, perfect flowers. You make everything prettier. Case in peony-point: these leggings, in a soft watercolor print.
The delicate picot trimming on this top makes it look more expensive than it is. Fluid fabric and the right length to let you take your pick of tuck – all-in, half, or all-out.
I love a lightweight pastel cashmere sweater for late winter, and as a carryover into spring. A v-neck makes it extra petite-friendly.
My favorite pants style (Sloan skinny fit), pinked up and looking quite fab for it. These are a Banana Republic Factory item, and are priced accordingly, which is nice.
Relaxed and casual stretch cotton twill chinos.
The subtlest shade of pink is just right for these stretch washed cotton wide legs.
